The box type substation, also known as European box, has become a new set of power transformation and distribution device and is widely used in mines, factories and enterprises, oil and gas fields and wind power station, residential quarters, public facilities in city, the bustling downtown, construction power supply which replaces the former civil power distribution room and power distribution station.

Box shell composition:Transformer substation box is composed of three parts: base, shell and cover.Base with channel steel, angle steel, flat steel, steel plate etc., group welding or bolt connection fixation and forming; to meet the ventilation, heat dissipation and inlet and outlet wires need, should open strip holes and moderate size of circular holes in the corresponding positions. Box shell can be made of carbon steel, cement, composite plate and etc..

2. Appearance: Surface treatment: Most areas of North China, the traditional paint spraying, baking finish, plastic-sprayed processing are used; in the economic developed areas of South China, in addition to the above-mentioned methods, also color tiles or veneers pasted on cement plate structure are used, especially the box placed in the residential quarters, which makes the appreance of the box more coordinated and unified with local style buildings.
